Soprano Bao-Guo Wang's name was misspelled in a review of the opera Madama Butterfly and in a photo caption appearing on Page 1E of Tuesday's Tropical Life. Also, the photo caption was erroneously repeated below another opera photo on Page 10E. Pictured on Page 10E were Bao-Guo Wang as Butterfly and Jorge Antonio Pita as Pinkerton.
Allegiant Airlines is not pulling out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, as stated in some editions of Sunday's Travel section, which was printed in advance. The airline is discontinuing service from the airport to five cities, but will continue service to Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Plattsburgh, N.Y.
A story that ran in Wednesday's Business Section about efforts to save Starbucks stores in North Miami and Lauderdale Lakes incorrectly stated how much money was given to the North Miami building owner who leases space to Starbucks and also misstated the source of the money. The building owner, who put up more than $80,000 to renovate the building, received an $80,000 matching grant from the city of North Miami.
